Mangaluru could soon see renewed efforts to build an international-standard cricket stadium, with Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) president Venkatesh Prasad expressing interest in developing a major cricketing facility in the coastal city. Prasad and other KSCA office-bearers held discussions with Mangaluru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) chairman Santhosh Kumar Shetty on the proposed project.
